Well, Can you believe that is is already mid January 2014!
All these things we always put off, saying yep, I'll get to that in a minute.

What a great photo shoot this was. This is a special place for our beautiful clients. Growing up playing in this park definitely triggered happy memories as we spent the afternoon together !

Busy little Bee

How has your week been?
Seems buzzzzare (sorry could help the pun) to as that in a blog about busy bees :)

October is just a crazy month here. We don't get to blog/Facebook all the photo sessions that we do, and that's ok. Some people love having their images online, and others for various reason don't. Its all good, I totally understand and respect their wishes. Sometimes, due to work commitments clients aren't allowed to show their faces (hehehe bit like that toothbrush/paste add).

This weekend has been fantastic so far we have raised 179.50 to be donated to the fund for Peta's assistance dog. It is very exciting and humbling to be able to do this for a friend. We still have 2 more photo shoots this afternoon. I thought while I had a couple of minutes to spare, we could update you on the craziness here :D

Wedding Magic

Weddings are beautiful. And I'm not just saying that to be corny. There really is something special about being invited to capture the lifelong memories of a someone's special day. Whether you get married in your backyard, overlooking the beach, your home church, or a magnificent cathedral, it is your day to celebrate becoming one with the person that you love. 

Thoughts

I have been thinking, (scary I know...)
Do you ever have days where your head is exploding with so many ideas and random thoughts?

I have a friend that needs help. My friend needs an assistance dog. She has some severe mental disorders, and the doctors have decided that this will help her with her condition.

What can I do? I am just me... I want to give her the world.

You see, not many people know, but quite a few years ago, I also struggled with a mental condition. Not the same as my friend's, but it was debilitating.
Interestingly, there is still a stigma associated with mental illness, it is like... because it is not physically obvious, you should just "get over it" ~sigh~  It is a constant battle with yourself and others.

I yearn to be able to help in someway.

I want to be able to show that, no matter who you are, where you come from, what you look like, you are you, and that is a very special thing.

With my friend, she needs more help than I did. And if I can help by organizing a day that we donate money for her dog, then we can all work together. We can step up when our friends need us.

Big week

i know I keep saying ot, but what a crazy week.

It has been very exciting. I was approached to do a photoshoot for a major launch/campaign for a national company. Jeepers! I am very humbled and, um, what is the word... yes, scared stiff fits, lol. All good. it was a good shoot, and a fantastic opportunity.

I have also been busy with a mound of paperwork over the last two weeks, sorting and organizing. With the end of financial year, it is always interesting to see how much this little business has grown and developed. There are so many options and doorways opening for me.

I am one very happy little chickadee.

Training :D

It was a fantastic afternoon today with a marketing seminar with the very talented Julian from Studio Max ! We learnt so much information, I am really excited to be planning for the business. There are an incredible amount of opportunities that have presented themselves over the last few weeks. It seems that among the photo shoots since I have been home from Europe, I have been planning, planning, and more planning :D. There are so many changes I am busting to show you, but I have to be patient. lol, yes, I know patient is not my strong point!
